Patients Satisfaction towards services provided in general surgical ward in King Faisal Hospital, Makkah, KSA.

Introduction: Patient satisfaction is often used as an imperative source of information to evaluate and develop a plan improve health services quality1. Satisfaction can be defined fulfillment or meeting expectation person from service. The World Health Organization established the ultimate goal preserving best possible level for all people providing high-quality care. This eventually could help in improving surgical care so meet patients. AIMS: To explore patients' perceptions regarding quality general wards at King Faisal Hospital, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, throughout stay ward, till discharge time. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted. total 182 patients admitted ward scheduled surgery (elective emergency) were included our study, during period (February -July 2022). Data will collected this specially designed questionnaire analyzed by excel sheet. All in-patient interviewed on day after surgery. focused their experiences rendered including operative ward. Results: Overall rate satisfied (85.4%) with service admission counter reception (85.7%) diet (87.4%) doctor-patient relationship, (72.5%), relations professionalism (81.9%). However, (65.9%) patient dissatisfied room preparation, cleanliness quietness time (37.4%) behavior nurses cooperation.
